Lightness with the darkness

Feedback I have had from several clients and workshop participants is that they were able to go to those dark and gritty places with me with lightness.

The intrepid explorers who have journeyed for a while may have forgotten what their first time was like looking into their shadows. Yes it can be daunting, confronting, unsettling to have a look. I know for me, if the facilitator is being the space of allowance for that which wants to show up without reacting, freaking out or interrupting, I can move through the e-motions with more ease.

The more I work on my shadowy aspects, the more I can be the expanded space for people to have lightness with the darkness - just be with what is.

This is what I have learnt to value as a kindness to me and to others, having lightness with the darkness.
